Nico defeated David Ferrer (19th at the ATP ranking) 4-6 6-2 6-4 !!! He will now face Andreas Seppi, a 25 years old Italian player # 43th at the ATP ranking for the quarters. That will be their first meeting in an ATP event.

Unfortunately Nico lost against Dolgopolov. He retired during the 2nd set whereas the Ukrainian was leading 6-1 2-0.
